Clapham

Situated in the heart of SW London, Robertson Road stands as an affluent residential thoroughfare, adorned with period properties that have been steadily garnering popularity. Commissioned by my client, I undertook the task of transforming his recently acquired property into two distinct dwellings, poised and ready for the competitive rental market. Historically the area south of the river has included some big renter hotspots, "as the best of both worlds with lively local social scenes and great transport links.”

Each of the two properties boasts 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 WC, and an expansive open living area seamlessly integrated with a kitchen/diner. The directive was clear: design rooms that are luminous and effortlessly maintainable for prospective tenants. The choice of furniture and accessories leaned towards simplicity, yet elevated with high-quality materials.

A palette of neutral colors complemented by dark wood furniture creates a modern, homely atmosphere. Dark grey upholstery was strategically chosen to manage any potential spillages over time, ensuring both aesthetics and practicality are seamlessly woven into the fabric of these inviting living spaces.
