Dutch Design Week 2019

In a seamless collaboration between Elle Decoration and Tarkett, the unveiling of Fluid Forces marked an immersive exhibition that drew inspiration from emerging trends while showcasing the latest in design. The exhibition unfolded across three distinctive sections, each encapsulating a thematic essence—'Concentrate,' 'Co-create,' and 'Celebrate.' Together, these themes encapsulated the core ethos of the ELLE Decoration at Work experience. The thought-provoking theme, "If not now, then when?" delved into the pressing issues of our times, including Climate Change, fostering a more equitable and inclusive society, and the responsible use of technology.

This venture unfolded as a rare and enriching opportunity, fostering collaboration with my peers and fellow designers in both Waalwijk (Netherlands) and Clervaux (Luxembourg). Serving as a member of the steering group for this project, I collaborated closely with Tarkett's experts in Design, Marketing, and Communication. Together, we meticulously curated Tarkett's contribution to Elle Decoration's thematic exploration, showcasing the extensive Tarkett portfolio through trend-setting colour palettes and environmentally friendly materials with high recycled content levels.

As a collective effort, we ingeniously breathed new life into an outdated product range, introducing fresh colourways that ultimately transformed it into a top-selling product in the market. This project not only allowed us to showcase the depth of Tarkett's offerings but also demonstrated the transformative power of collaboration in revitalising and elevating existing designs.
