Workplace Design Show 2023
Revolving around the theme 'Deconstructed Design,' this installation aimed to redefine the narrative surrounding waste materials. Each showcased element was meticulously crafted from recycled materials and designed with recyclability post-use in mind, presenting a closed-loop cycle of products and materials. Departing from the conventional room set vignettes, this innovative approach prioritized both human well-being and environmental sustainability, showcasing aesthetically pleasing and resilient spaces.
Breaking away from the established styles Tarkett had traditionally presented in exhibitions, this stand marked a departure that resonated with the theme of innovation. The enthusiastic reception from visitors at the 2021 WDS stand served as the catalyst for steering a new course and offering our clients something entirely novel. Not only did our competitors appreciate the 2021 stand, but Tarkett also aimed to set the industry standard, becoming pioneers in innovative and thought-provoking designs. Stripping back to raw materials provided a fresh perspective, offering a transparent portrayal of the recycling process in all its forms.
The desire was to capture a recycled aesthetic, blending a variety of colors with a touch of softness to visually depict the circular journey that Tarkett's products undergo. This approach aimed not just to showcase products but to tell a compelling story of sustainability, resilience, and the transformative power of thoughtful design.
